Disney Speedstorm is a car racing game that is free to download. It is an official Disney game that will feature many of the best-loved characters from both the Pixar and Disney animation studios. That said, anyone who has played titles like Mario Kart Tour before will know what to expect with lots of fast-paced action, cute graphics, plus thrills and spills. Each character is uniquely equipped with skills that can significantly impact the race's outcome, providing a strategic edge. Like Disney Crossy Road, this game features Mickey Mouse, the most famous of all Disney characters. In addition, you can expect to play as Sulley from Monsters Inc., Captain Jack Sparrow, Mulan, and more besides. Best of all, they'll be able to race through familiar locations from some of the most iconic films from the franchise.
No Toy Gets Left Behind season
The new Season 14 update of the game, aptly titled No Toy Gets Left Behind, introduces new Toy Story-inspired racers. You'll find Emperor Zurg, a brawler; Lotso, as a Trickster; and Forky, a defender, joining the roster. Forky is unlockable via the Season Tour, while Emperor Zurg and Lotso are available through the premium tiers of the game’s Golden Pass access.
Additionally, you can also unlock Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep through the free tiers of the Golden Pass. Each new racer brings distinct abilities; for instance, Lotso can slow down opponents, and Forky gains speed from losing trash pieces. In the mid-season, Chip, a defender, and Dale, a brawler, from the movie Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, also join the races.
Designed for sheer entertainment
Because it is associated with one of the biggest names in global family entertainment today, Disney, Disney Speedstorm has been designed to have a wide appeal. It blends elements from a number of classic films and creates a game that is diverse, dynamic, and endlessly entertaining. That said, it doesn't offer anything that is truly original because combat-style racing games have been around for some time. Nevertheless, it does play very well.
